Julia Butterfly hill

In my literacy group we had to pick out an environmentalist and research about them and them and make a magazine. I picked out Julia Butterfly Hill because she seemed like an interesting person.

Science fair poster

In our learning hub we had to make a poster, you could either chose a science poster or a technology one. I chose to do a Life Cycle of a Monarch Butterfly because I thought it would be interesting. The biggest challenge to do this science poster was to line everything up and make it look even another challenges was that to make sure that everything was the same size like the text boxes but it didn't really work. The thing I found easy to do was to find information about the Butterfly's Life Cycle. I also learnt the scientific name for the Monarch Butterfly and it is Danaus Plexippus.

Things about me

My name is Cazaly. I live in Gisborne, New Zealand. I go to Gisborne intermediate School, also known as Gisint. I have one sister and a cat and a dog.

I am good at hockey, squash, writing and reading. The thing that is a challenge for me is math. My goal this year is to get involved with many things as possible in school and get as many badges as I can.

I am looking forward to going to Samoa in the upcoming holidays. I am also looking forward to going on action week in September and going to Auckland.
